Deploy your v0 app to your own domain and accounts

v0 builds Next.js apps, which deploy as they are. What it leans on is Vercel's integrations, which set variables under their own names. Launchpad sets those names for you.

What carries over

Everything: it's Next.js. Launchpad points POSTGRES_URL at the new database, so @vercel/postgres works unchanged.

What to watch for

@vercel/kv's variable names, AI routes anyone can call in a loop, and type errors the build is set to ignore.

Launchpad recognises a v0 app by package.json named my-v0-project, or the README's link to v0, and adjusts what it sets up before anything is created.

The steps

  1. Push the app to GitHub from v0, or download it as a zip.
  2. Run the free launch check on it.
  3. Paste the fix request into v0, and let it make the changes.
  4. Import the repository in Launchpad, turn on a database, and deploy on your domain.

Questions

Does my database code need changing?

No. @vercel/postgres reads POSTGRES_URL, and Launchpad sets it to the new database's address.

What about @vercel/kv?

Turn on Redis: Launchpad creates an Upstash database. Switch the code to @upstash/redis (the same commands), or add KV_REST_API_URL and KV_REST_API_TOKEN pointing at it.

Is Launchpad part of v0 or Vercel?

No. Launchpad is an independent product by Axonscape. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by v0 or Vercel; it recognises apps made with it so moving them is easier.
