Terms of Service
Effective 7 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Axonscape, Hyderabad, Telangana, India (“Axonscape”, “we”, “us”). They cover Launchpad: the website at launchpad.axonscape.com, the console at console.launchpad.axonscape.com, the launchpad command-line tool, the Launchpad MCP server and the starter templates (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and need no physical or digital signature. If you use the Service for a company or other organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms for it, and “you” means that organisation.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter a binding contract, to use the Service.
- You sign in with GitHub. You’re responsible for keeping your GitHub account secure and for everything done through your Launchpad account.
- During the private beta, access is by invitation. We may decline or end beta access at our discretion.
- Tell us straight away at hello@axonscape.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.
3. How Launchpad works with your provider accounts
Launchpad sets up and manages hosting, databases, sign-in, file storage, email, bot protection and payments for your apps. It does this in accounts you hold with third-party providers, such as Vercel, Render, Supabase, Resend, Cloudflare and Stripe (“Providers”), using access tokens you give us.
- Your Provider accounts are yours. Your use of each Provider is governed by that Provider’s own terms and pricing, and you pay Providers directly. Launchpad’s fees don’t include Provider charges.
- You authorise our actions. When you run a deploy (for example
launchpad upor Deploy in the console), you instruct us to create, change or delete resources in your Provider accounts as your project’s configuration describes. Review the plan Launchpad shows before applying it. - Deleting is deliberate. Launchpad deletes resources only when you ask it to (
launchpad down, or Delete project in the console), after you confirm the project’s name. It never deletes resources you linked to it rather than letting it create. - Tokens. Give us only tokens you’re entitled to share. You can remove them in the console or revoke them at the Provider at any time; actions that need them will then stop working.
- Providers can fail or change. We’re not responsible for a Provider’s outages, data loss, price changes, API changes or decisions about your account. We’ll make reasonable efforts to keep Launchpad working when Providers change.
- Your apps are your responsibility. You’re responsible for the apps you deploy with Launchpad, their content and users, and their compliance with law, including privacy law for your own users’ data.
4. Plans, billing and cancellation
| Plan | Price | Projects |
|---|---|---|
| Hobby | Free | 1 |
| Builder | US$20 a month | 5 |
| Studio | US$79 a month | 25 |
Current prices and limits are on our pricing page, which takes precedence if it differs from this table.
- Payment. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
- Taxes. Prices exclude taxes such as GST, which we add where the law requires.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and your plan stays active meanwhile. If it still fails, your account moves to the free Hobby plan.
- Changing plans. Upgrades and downgrades take effect through the billing page, with the difference prorated. If you move to a plan with fewer projects than you have, existing projects keep running but you can’t add new ones until you’re under the limit.
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time from the billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Refunds. If you’re unhappy with your first payment on a plan, email us within 14 days for a full refund. Otherwise fees aren’t refundable, except where the law requires.
- Price changes. We’ll email you at least 30 days before a price increase applies to you.
- Beta and complimentary plans. We may give some users a paid plan free of charge, for example during the beta, and will email at least 30 days before it ends.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service, or apps you deploy with it, to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- host or share content that is obscene, defamatory, harmful to children, or that threatens the unity, integrity, security or sovereignty of India or public order;
- distribute malware, phishing pages or spam;
- attack, probe or scan systems you don’t own or have permission to test, including by pointing Launchpad’s health checks or monitors at them;
- try to reach our internal systems or other customers’ data, get around plan limits or security controls, or reverse-engineer the Service except where the law allows;
- overload the Service, for example with automated requests far beyond normal use;
- resell the Service, or run it as part of a competing service, without our written permission;
- break the terms of any Provider you use through Launchpad.
If we reasonably believe you’ve broken this section, we may suspend or end your access. Where practical we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem; we may act without notice to protect the Service, other users, Providers or the public, or where the law requires.
6. Your content and our intellectual property
- Your content stays yours. Your code, project configuration, secrets and app data (“Your Content”) belong to you. You give us only the permission we need to run the Service for you: to store and process Your Content and send it to the Providers you choose.
- We don’t sell it or train on it. We don’t sell Your Content or use it to train AI models.
- The Service is ours. Launchpad’s software, design and brand belong to Axonscape. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them while your account is active.
- Templates. Code you copy from Launchpad’s starter templates into your project is yours to use, change and ship in your own apps, during and after your use of the Service.
- Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
7. Availability, beta features and changes
- No uptime guarantee. We work to keep the Service available but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your deployed apps run on your Providers, so they generally keep running if Launchpad itself is unavailable.
- Monitoring is informational. Uptime checks and status pages are best effort and may miss or misreport incidents. Don’t rely on them as your only monitoring for critical systems.
- Beta features are provided as they are and may change or be removed.
- Changes to the Service. If we remove a feature that materially reduces a paid plan, we’ll give 30 days’ notice; if you don’t accept the change, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund for the unused part of your period.
8. Disclaimers, liability and indemnity
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows:
- Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
- Our total liability for all claims about the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) US$100.
- We’re not liable for Provider charges, outages or data loss, or for actions Launchpad took in your Provider accounts because you instructed them.
These limits don’t apply to liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for fraud.
You’ll indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content, the apps you deploy, or your breach of these terms or of a Provider’s terms.
9. Ending your use, and your data
- You can leave any time. Cancel any paid plan, then email us to close your account.
- We can end these terms for a serious or repeated breach, for non-payment, or if we stop offering the Service. If we stop offering it, we’ll give at least 60 days’ notice and refund prepaid fees for unused time.
- Your apps keep running. Closing your Launchpad account doesn’t delete anything in your Provider accounts; your apps and data there stay under your control. Before closing, you can ask us for an export of your project configuration.
- What we delete. Within 30 days of closing your account, we delete your provider tokens, project secrets, configuration, run logs and uptime history, except records the law requires us to keep (such as invoices). Details are in our Privacy Policy.
- What survives. Sections 6, 8, 9 and 10 continue after these terms end.
10. Governing law, disputes and grievances
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Disputes. We’ll first try to resolve any dispute informally: email us and we’ll respond within 30 days. If it isn’t resolved, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have under consumer protection law to bring a claim where you live.
- Grievance Officer. Complaints about the Service can be sent to our Grievance Officer at hello@axonscape.com (subject “Grievance”). We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.
- Changes to these terms. We’ll post updated terms here with a new effective date, and email account holders at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them; if you don’t, you may cancel.
- General. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about the Service. If part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.
